Our friends at The Lemon Collective are back next Tuesday with their new performance Alienation as part On The Verge festival, which presents performances in unusual places and spaces by up and coming theater artists.
It’s described as ‘an interactive and immersive experience set as a multi-room walk-through that challenges audience perspective…a multi-sensory environment which continuously transforms through projections, sound and light, transforming you to a far-off galaxy full of eccentric inhabitants and cryptic challenges.’
We aren’t quite sure what to expect, but basically, it’s an abduction game in a derelict basement on Victoria St, in which abductees must solve puzzles and challenges to escape the aliens and save the world. More productive than the pub, eh?
Having experienced a performance by the Lemons at the Fire Arts Festival back in May, we’re sure this’ll be o̶u̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶l̶d̶ boss (not just saying that because lemons are our fave thing in the whole galaxy).
There will be five shows per day throughout the festival, but each show is limited to six people so plan a visit with mates and BOOK IN ADVANCE.
